Bihar Special School Teacher - Vacancy Details

Bihar Special School Teacher Qualification:

Category	Educational & Training Qualification
Basic Category (Class 1-5)	Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks AND D.El.Ed. in Special Education from an institution recognized by RCI with valid CRR number. OR D.El.Ed. equivalent certificate/diploma in Special Education recognized by RCI with valid CRR number. 6-month teaching training in cross-disability area.
Graduate Category (Class 6-8)	Graduation with at least 50% marks from a recognized university AND B.Ed. in Special Education from an institution recognized by RCI with valid CRR number. OR B.Ed. with certificate/diploma equivalent to B.Ed. in Special Education recognized by RCI with valid CRR number. 6-month teaching training in cross-disability area.

Additional Provisions:

• Matric (or equivalent) and Intermediate (or equivalent) certificates issued by board established by Central or State Government will be valid.
• Graduation certificates issued by universities established by law or recognized by UGC will be valid.
• If 6-month cross-disability training has not started by RCI, it will be mandatory to complete it within 2 years from the start date after appointment. Paid leave up to 6 months will be allowed for this training.
• 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/EBC/BC/Persons with Disabilities candidates in educational and training qualification.
• The qualification for Special School Teacher will be as per RCI norms. Any provision not matching RCI norms will be deemed modified as per RCI norms.
• Degrees or diplomas awarded by voluntary institutions established by societies or trusts in specific languages will not be valid for the post of Special School Teacher.

Note:

• BSSTET Must be Cleared for both levels (Class 1–5 & Class 6–8).
