DSSSB Primary Teacher PRT 2025 Details

Essential Qualifications:
Assistant Teacher (Primary) – Directorate of Education
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR
- Senior Secondary with 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE 2002 norms) OR
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
- Graduated with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
Additional Requirements:
- CTET (CBSE) Qualified
- Must have passed Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/English at the secondary level
- 5% mark relaxation for reserved categories
Assistant Teacher (Nursery) – Directorate of Education
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 45% marks
- Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education of at least 2 years OR B.Ed (Nursery)
- Must have passed Hindi as a subject at the secondary level
Assistant Teacher (Primary) – NDMC
- 12th Pass with 50% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST)
- 2-year Diploma in Primary Education / ETE / JBT / DIET / B.El.Ed
- Must have passed Hindi in 10th class
- Must have cleared CTET as per NCTE guidelines
