JTET 2026 Eligibility

Level-1 (Primary) – Class 1 to 5
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following eligibility criteria:
- 12th Pass (Min. 50%) with 2-Year D.El.Ed
- 12th Pass (Min. 45%) with 2-Year D.El.Ed
- 12th Pass (Min. 50%) with 4-Year B.El.Ed
- 12th Pass (Min. 50%) with Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Graduation with 2-Year D.El.Ed

Level-2 (Upper Primary) – Class 6 to 8
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Graduation with 2-Year D.El.Ed
- Graduation (Min. 50%) with B.Ed (After 29.07.2011)
- Graduation (Min. 45%) with B.Ed (Before 29.07.2011)
- 12th (Min. 50%) with 4-Year B.El.Ed
- 12th (Min. 50%) with B.A/B.Sc B.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
- Graduation (Min. 50%) with B.Ed (Special Education)
- Post-Graduation (Min. 55%) with B.Ed-M.Ed
