Short Information : The RRB NTPC 10+2 Level (also known as RRB NTPC Graduate Level) exam is designed for candidates applying for various non-technical popular categories. The syllabus typically covers multiple subjects and is divided into different sections.

Written Examination:

RRB NTPC 10+2 Level consists of four main stages:

  • General Awareness:
  • Mathematics:
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning:
  • General Science:

1. General Awareness:

  • Current Affairs: National and international events, important dates, awards, and honors.
  • General Knowledge: History, geography, polity, economics, culture, and sports.
  • Static GK: Indian states and capitals, important national and international organizations, and their headquarters.

2. Mathematics:

  • Arithmetic: Number systems, HCF and LCM, percentages, ratios and proportions, average, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, work and time, speed and distance, and time and distance.
  • Algebra: Basic algebraic identities, linear equations in one or two variables.
  • Geometry: Lines and angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, and coordinate geometry.
  • Mensuration: Area and volume of different geometrical shapes.
  • Data Interpretation: Tables, graphs, and charts.

3. General Intelligence and Reasoning:

  • Logical Reasoning: Analogies, similarities and differences, series completion, coding and decoding, blood relations, direction sense, and ranking.
  • Verbal Reasoning: Statements and conclusions, syllogisms, and logical sequences.
  • Non-Verbal Reasoning: Series, pattern recognition, and figure formation and analysis.

4. General Science:

  • Physics: Basic principles and laws, work, energy, and power, sound, light, and optics.
  • Chemistry: Basics of atoms and molecules, periodic table, chemical reactions, acids and bases.
  • Biology: Human body and its functions, plant biology, health and disease, and environmental science.

Exam Pattern:

  • Stage 1: CBT (Computer Based Test) – Preliminary exam
  • Stage 2: CBT (Computer Based Test) – Mains exam
  • Stage 3: Skill Test/Typing Test (depending on the post)
  • Stage 4: Document Verification and Medical Examination
