Reservation, Concessions, and Relaxations

(Only in case of reserved vacancy for specific category)

2.1. Candidates seeking reservation as SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL must provide a valid certificate.

2.2. OBC candidates belonging to the 'Creamy Layer' should apply under the 'General' category.

2.3. EWS candidates must produce a valid 'Income and Asset Certificate' for the current financial year.

2.4. Ex-Servicemen who have secured regular employment are eligible for age relaxation but not for reservation.

2.5. PwBD candidates must have at least 40% disability and provide a valid disability certificate.

2.7. Cumulative relaxation for multiple categories is applicable.

2.8. Non-English/Hindi certificates require self-certified translations.

2.9. Reserved category candidates may apply for unreserved posts but will not receive category-based relaxations.

2.10. Guidelines are subject to Government of India updates.

2.11. The maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years, including relaxations.

Selection Process

3.1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a medical fitness test.

3.2. CBT syllabus will be available on NCRTC's website.

3.3. CBT will be available in Hindi and English.

3.4. CBT will consist of 100 questions, 100 marks, and no negative marking.

3.5. Duration: 90 minutes.

3.6. Meeting minimum marks does not guarantee selection.

3.7. Test centers include Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai.

Medical Examination

4.1. Candidates must pass NCRTC’s medical fitness standards.

4.2. Initial medical exam expenses are covered; re-exams must be self-funded.

Probation Period

5.1. Employees will be on probation for 2 years as per company policy.
